Well it's been a week and I remembered to come sign on...ok so that was it that's all I wrote on Thursday and it's taken three more days to even get back to this, and man am I ready for bed.
This week has been fun some new things happening for Roderick. He started rolling over once in a while from tummy to back and the odd time from back to tummy that was a pretty exciting day. His other new great discovery has been his Jolly Jumper. It's taken about three days now for him to really figure out what it's for but is now jumping (for the most part) quite happily. It's been a lot of fun to watch. I can't believe he's already that big and stable. Crazyness!
This week has been a bit better for me then in weeks past in that I am trying really hard to be out of the house for a few hours every day. This is hard for me as I am very much a home body and like to sit around. But I'm bored and I'm driving Chris crazy when he gets home from work because I just want to do something...anything....just be out, and talk. Woman sometimes just need to use their words a girl friend told me this week. I never really felt like that described me until very recently. Not having a ton of friends and being home all day talking to a baby defiantly leaves you desiring the need to expel more words.
Anyway I managed to see three friends so far this week. Scrapbook, go to three different malls, spend gift cards at baby stores, buy some more clothes that fit, go to the baby store, go to church and have a moms dinner out with the MOPS ladies. Oh and Chris and I went to the Zoo for Valentines to see the new Penguin exhibit, that was pretty cool! Can't wait to go back.
Ok so maybe I did do a lot this week looking back at it and especially having Roderick and handling all the house choirs on top of that , but sometimes I'm still bored....but I am tired, maybe this week I will try and schedule some more naps. I could really use a few more of those.
Ok well I'm off to bed. 7:43pm believe or not this is later then I went to bed yesterday. Maybe that has something to do with that Roderick is still up every 3-4 hours all night and is up for the day between 5:30 and 6 am everyday with out fail. Sigh.... I miss sleep....
