My New Love!

Roderick William Alcis McNeil Born October 22, 2011! 

6lb 1oz 19 3/4 inch. 4:46am

So I'm a little behind, I'm allowed to be I'm a new mom! My precious baby boy is already 15 weeks old, and 12lbs. He's growing so fast, smiling, giggling, and almost rolling over, he's also quite the chatter box. We love him so much, every day is a new adventure. I can't wait until 5 am is not a regular morning time and for when I'm sleeping more then 3 hours at a time. But I'm trying to enjoy the quiet precious moments that come in the middle of the night. 

Life has been busy, some days I feel like we don't get anything done and we barely get up and going before Chris is almost home from work. It makes me feel bad some days but just entertaining, feeding, changing, and loving a little guy takes a lot of work especially when you're still running on very little sleep. We're trying to get out again seeing friends and playing games to help keep our sanity by having adult social time. We haven't had a lot of us time lately but I'm hoping as Roderick starts to get a little older and sleeping a little better we can actually have a few quiet moments. 

I'm hoping to write weekly now so please stay tuned, a way to review my week and look forward to the next and some rest, and reflection time for myself. 

Today I learned: That the big four building at the stampede grounds is named after the four guys that founded the stampede known locally as "the big four"!
