I found Lactose free butter and soy Ice Cream!!!! Seriously you have no idea the joy I felt realizing I could still bake and could still eat a frozen dessert! Happy Happy Happy!Chris was less then enthusiastic but at least willing to try it.
I also discovered that the North Hill Library is not the the Library beside North Hill mall! That would just make to much sense, nope its in Brentwood which isn't exactly close either. Sigh. Live and learn.
And in the world of more exciting news WE BOUGHT A CAR!!! (Via a loan from my mom and dad but non the less very exciting). We traded in the old Toyota Cressida and picked up a Silver 2009 Toyota Corolla. We really like it, I will post a picture later for you to see.We are very happy to have a reliable vehicle on our hands again and something we know will last us a great many more years.
I also had my first day of training at my job which went really well and I think I'm going to like and got 3 babysitting gigs this week.
Things are looking up. And boy does that make me smile! We have so much to be thankful for! Amen!

if you are looking for an alternative to soy ice cream, you could have some sorbet. it is made from flavored water so it has no milk but is still delicious!
