March 12, 2009 Engagement!!!

As of Thursday March 12, 2009 I am now an engaged women. Chris proposed romantically after a long week and after my final exam for my degree. Here's the story...

I got home from my exam and we went for a walk around mirror lake to de-stress. When we got home( we had planned to go to the city for dinner) I was confined to the bathroom to relax, take my time and get ready, my cloths already hanging in the bathroom. When I was almost ready I asked if I could have my earings and the locket he had given me in high school. He gave me the earings and told me to come out for the neckalace when I was ready. Slightly confused, adn courious, I emergerd.

There was a path of tea light candles to the living room and a heart made out of tea lights with a stuffed panda bear in the middle. I present to take with me on my trip it says in chirs's voice, "I love you always angela." When I bent down to pick up the bear he went down on one knee as I noticed that my locket was on the bear and there was a ring on the chain as well.

He propsed! I said Yes! We cried, and then we called our parents. It was perfect and the ring is beautiful. I couldn't be happier.

On my way to Egypt, Jordan and Israel now! Update when I return.
