So this week has been pretty exciting! We had our 19 week ultrasound on Tuesday and were just amazed at how big our little baby has gotten. The technician was fantastic, taking the time to ask us what we wanted to see and showing details. The baby is situated much higher then we thought right now sort of wrapped around my belly button with its feet almost in my solar-plexus, she tried to tickle it's feet to make it move but it was sleeping at the time. We got to see nose, lips, chin, eyes -open and closed, back bone, ribs, brain, heart, toes, shin and knee it was incredible. Wow! Here is the ultrasound! We didn't get all of the pictures we would have liked but she did pick some good ones.
We also decided not to find out the sex of the baby although the tech said she could tell, which i just find amazing. I'm having a baby! *sigh* I'm so pregnant I can't write/say anything about the baby without tearing up. Chris can vouch for that also that baby brain is starting to take effect I did not almost put the carrots in the deep freeze the other day....I think Chris laughed for 10 minutes! Baby has also been very active this week it's kneeing me on my left side and it was punching quite high on my right side yesterday just under my ribs. ( Which sort of terrifies me I saw this show where a ladies baby kicked her so hard it broke three of her ribs, can you imagine?) Anyway feeling movements is pretty neat, Chris is enjoying that to it's funny as they are sort of sporadic. He can have his hand on my time and nothing will happen for 20 minutes then all of a sudden Wham! and I'm sure they are just going to keep getting stronger.
Well off to get ready for a games night. New growing bump photos to come next time!
