So I have one more week until I can breathe a bit. I've got Intern class at CLBI this week amongst working and writing finals at University so I'm feeling a little worn thin. I'm getting sick and the cold and stress is getting to me. So I can't wait until next week.
Chris and I fly to Ottawa on Wednesday morning and are spending almost a week there with his parents doing the Christmas thing. I'm excited as I will finally get to see where Chris grew up, spend some time with his folks as I haven't much before and go out east which I have yet to do..unless you consider Winnipeg east! Then I will fly home to Calgary and spend almost a week with my family doing the Christmas thing. Relaxing and just being at home to just stop for a bit.
I know next semester is going to be busy too and I'm struggling with lots of unanswered questions right now. And really wanting to challenge my faith and what I believe and why I believe it - maybe I'll blame philosophy class for that. That's my prayer request to you right now. I'm feeling unsatisfied and trying to have both joy and happiness in what I'm doing and how to re-build my broken down relationship with God. Searching for answers to questions I didn't know I even had.
Anyhow fill me in on how you are doing and of course until next time (CLBI related) read over your second year discernment session notes of you've got them. It's a breath of fresh air and a good reminder of where you wanted to be right now! Much love and Merry Christmas!

know that you're questions are not bigger than God... I used to be afraid of asking questions that didn't seem to have answers but somehow He managed...and still manages to continually surprise me with comfort and peace!
Have a great time with the families... both involved :) over christmas. Hope to see you at least somewhat soon! your brother in Christ.
Yeah Philosophy class will tend to leave you asking questions. It's very hard to be concrete in your beliefs when you realize that there are so many vearing beliefs all built on old beliefs.
I loved philosophy for that, and there's nothing wrong in looking for answers. Just accept that sometimes you may not get answers to your question, but that's usually because your asking the wrong questions.
Happy Holidays!
